Does this sound familiar?
- You set a goal that is just beyond your reach.
- You are committed and actually excited.
- You in the zone.
- You’re #RockingOnWithYourBadSelf!
AND THEN…
- Something knocks you off course. #HelloCovid
- You get distracted. #HomeschoolingSucks
- An hour turns into an afternoon.
- An afternoon turns into a week.
- A week turns into a month. #WhatYearIsThisAnyway
- Your goal has moved completely out of your grasp. #IHadAGoal?
So you decide to try again next month/next quarter/next year.
It’s not your fault
As a microbusiness owner, you are an island. You set the rules, the goals, the deadlines.
You’re also a human being with family and personal commitments. The tugs for your time and attention are continual. The squeaky wheel always gets the oil, and your goals rarely squeak the loudest.

Bestie Real Talk
Hi, I’m Windy. If you’re here, we’ve likely “met” online. Most people think I’m a #GoGetter #GoalCrusher #GSDer. Very few people know what I’m about to share with you.
*Takes a deep breath*
If it weren’t for my inner circle, I wouldn’t be here.
I would have quit my business.
I would have peaced out, bean sprout my dreams.
The pressure of owning a business is intense. And it’s 100% self-inflicted.
I’ve worked with coaches {and therapy, because yo, I live on planet earth}, but the support from my small group is HOW I stayed in the game and managed to thrive.
The side-eye, immense love, ass-kicking, and support from women who are my peers, my accountability partners, is what keeps me going. They can relate to my struggles because they are going through similar struggles. They keep me on track, on task, call my out on my unrealistic expectations, and help me when I’m stuck!
It’s because of them that I am able to continue running the business of my dreams.
The Power of Positive Peer Pressure
We tend to think of peer pressure as inherently harmful; it causes teenagers to try drugs or become mean girls. But positive peer pressure can influence someone into doing good things out of her desire to belong to the group, one of our most primal desires.
When you’re in a running club, you find a way to get your miles in because you don’t want to disappoint your members.
When you’re in a book club, you find time to finish reading the book to be prepared at the next meeting.
The Accountability Co-Op provides positive peer pressure.
Without any peer pressure or accountability, time can become irrelevant. Have you ever decided on Monday that THIS IS THE WEEK that you will complete a project or task, only to declare the same goal the following week? No one was holding you accountable to finish it that week. Heck, no one even knew you intended to complete it that week.
With the Accountability Co-Op, the peer pressure comes through providing written weekly goals and reporting back on your progress.
Three Important Questions
In most sales pages, this section is where the guilt and shame message goes. The manipulative “If you can dream it, you can achieve it” type of inspirational message, designed to convince you that you need this program to reach new heights. But that isn’t my style; it feels manipulative, implying that if you haven’t achieved your dreams, the problem is you.
So, let me be clear- very clear… If you haven’t achieved your dreams, the problem isn’t you.
And this program isn’t a quick-fix in five, easy steps to earn a bazillion dollars in 90 days or less.
Instead of me convincing you that you need this, I want to ask you three simple questions:
- What do you want?
If you don’t know where you want to go, any road will get you there. If you find that you’re constantly busy, but not really productive {ie, busy on shit that matters}, you may not have a clear goal.
The Accountability Co-Op starts with an in-depth goal setting session to help you get clarity on what you can reasonably expect to achieve during the three-month process. - Where are you getting support?
My husband is my biggest cheerleader, but he has no idea what it’s like to run a small business as a woman. My friends are pretty frickin’ awesome, too. But they are busy with their own lives and kids and jobs and spouses and inlaws and… I love them all dearly, but they are not the people I need to show up for business support.
Who is supporting you? Who is checking in with you to make sure you are on track with your goals? - What are you doing right now to stay on task? Is it working?
Delayed gratification is the worst. But it’s also what success looks like. It’s the 30 minutes spent today, tomorrow and every day for the next 90 days on a project that won’t be complete until early 2022.
When you’re playing the long-game, it’s easy to forget that every step matters. EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Can You Even?
If the last 480 months of 2020 {I mean, seriously} have taught us anything, it’s that we have to be adaptable if we want to move forward in our goals. Everything can shift in a day.
Can you imagine having a global pandemic close your restaurant or completely shut down production of your sole product, and finding ways around it? Co-Op members can, because they have.
Can you imagine having the rug pulled out from under you in your personal life and still having the best sales month of your life while taking care of your emotional needs? Co-Op members can, because they have.
Can you imagine setting goals that feel good and are aligned with your core and achieving them? Co-Op members can, because they have.
